Mac version:
-Constant freezes/crashes in multiplayer
-Inability to download custom maps
-Cursor jumping around after clicking on anything in the menus or when selecting your gear in multiplayer
-Cursor just being displayed as a regular-♥♥♥ cursor (yknow its supposed be a sword)
-Glitch where, when somebody gets thrown off their horse, they get flung to the other side of the map (in arenas they even fly OUTSIDE the map, making victory impossible)

The unavailability of multiplayer is currently the biggest issue Id suggest focusing that the most

Juggerflakes, are these issues also happening after the last patch? (it was released one hour ago)

Mustafa when i start the game i dont get a patch, do i have to start it through steam?

So what if I want to use mods like clash of kings or floris? can i use a similar work around. Does anyone know if they'll get around to fixing it. I love this game!

My game wont even start, how DO I FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Linux the game dont start, all the screen crash and i have to restart the computer.

Thanks for this observation, it was very helpful. The following helped on my 64bit ubuntu to get the config-gui running:

sudo apt-get install libqt4-gui:i386

Yes, you can use this workaround for other mods too. But any mod that uses custom shaders will have to port those shaders OpenGL's shading language.

Please provide more info. Are you using Mac or Linux. If you're using Linux, what is your distro. What is your computer's configuration and do you get any error messages etc.

Are you using a recent AMD gpu? If so, try installing open-source drivers or wait for a bugfix(I'm hoping to fix it this week).

My experiences playing on linux are:

- Within some nordic maps; flickering occurs with HDR on. (Turning HDR to "Off" and unticking subsequent lighting options resolves flickering.)
- Turning HDR on (when off) during battle can black out screen.
- Splash screen and intro are bypassed when clicking on "play" option. Goes straight to loading game client.
- As splash screen is bypassed, modules cannot be selected nor can game be configured.
- The option to "configure" Mount & Blade Warband does not launch.
- Manually trying to launch "mbw_config_linux" prints out: "error while loading shared libraries: libQtGui.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".

Another thing would be the noteable FPS drop from Windows to Linux, but it is expected. Still very playable. :squirtyay:

I'll look into the HDR issue, thank you for the report. You have to install qt4 to start config tool.

You can think about getting user resolution range using xrandr for config tool so we can actualy set up our native resolution using config tool. Good luck with AMD drivers issue.

I have a small issue. Can't seem to find the directory that the character import/export files are, I'm on a Mac.

Looks like Mac OS multi issues had been fixed. I played two full maps without a crash. Thank you devs! Good job! Maybe cursor reseting to the center of the screen every time you select an inventory item or faction could be fixed as well :)

But Im gonna have to check this^^ myself

Im on mac trying to use the module fix but i cant even find the MBWarband file in Application Support

Update on the multiplayer it does work now, but Ive encountered a little glitch where you cant select anything in the menu anymore including "Quit" which means you have to CMD-TAB and then force quit out of the game

I agree followed all the steps and says it dosen't exist.
