If you're not looking for a good deal, I 've had "some" success using the DOF to offload players. Just don't use him expecting to get a profit.

As an example recently I used him to sell Rolando a Marseille player that is old and not that great. I set for half value as I really wanted him to leave but I'll try full value in the future.

Ok ill have a try..managed to sell 3 players..way under their value..at least their off the books..ive yet to get a maahooosive bid for any player no matter how well they do :(

I think the problem is the way ai clubs/managers act. They tend to all get their clubs into massive financial problems by having way too many average players on big wages so they don't have much for transfers. Every club that I have moved to are in a terrible state financially and looked the same way the odd youtube series i have seen.
