Its would be cool to have good mods for this game... But you need a really good writer and a decent programer to even think about stand a chance against a "pasionate" comunity like the one that this game has.
i've personally fiddled around with the yarn files (the game's dialogue system). it is surprising how much of it is automated. you can do a lot just by editing these text files. adding completely new conversations, animating stuff, triggering variables, etc. there are some limits to what you can do, but you can do a surprising amount.
but i've yet to see anyone actually upload these sorts of modifications for others to fiddle around with yet.
