unable to start, please reinstall the base game
i tried to solve this using everything i could
i changed the compatibility multiple times to every proton there is , i use linux
i don't know what else to do ?
please help

I just tried to play the game and got the same error message. When I looked in the folder I noticed there is no executable (exe) not sure if that will help you.
I uninstalled mine, not willing to spend time trying to fix it so I will wish you the best of luck and hope you get it working for linux.

mines not lanucing my gamee ethier how do I fix and i heard there is a new update for the sims 3

i head about that too but unsure if it will fix the current issue at hand
