White Day 1.03 Patch Notes

Hi everyone,

We have received a lot of feedback since the release of White Day and have taken action against a number of different issues in the latest patch. Here is the list of changes:

[Bug Fixes]
1. Fixed a bug that caused an UI error when a certain key is pressed at game setting.
2. Certain cut-scene bugs have been fixed.
3. Incorrect tutorial tutorial text has been fixed.
4. Added 4K resolution support.
5. Fixed additional minor bugs.

[Fixed Functions & Updates]
1. Janitors have been rebalanced. Their speed has been partially adjusted (to lower the difficulty).
2. The condition for the ‘Ji-Min Yoo’ event has been adjusted (to lower the difficulty).
3. Unintuitive QTE guides have been improved.
4, Added window mode supported.

[Future Patch Plans]
1. The balancing and difficulty level of the janitor will be adjusted.
2. Interface will be improved.
3. Other bugs reported by players will be patched.

Sonnori are busy at work adjusting the difficulty of various aspects of the game and player feedback here on the Steam discussion page and on social media has been instrumental in ensuring that the difficulty is correct on all different settings. We humbly thank everyone that has said a kind word about White Day or has provided feedback on issues they have encountered. We will be constantly monitoring and providing updates to ensure that the title is as good as can be.

I have a queston, is the game supose to have the windows tab at the bottom or is this just my computer?

I'd like to report a bug, I just noticed, I'm playing with English text and I cannot change the "Open Bag" command, all I see under System > Keyboard > Settings is a korean character, and when I press Enter on it to change the key binding I only hear the sound but the key doesnt change and the korean character remains on screen.

Seems to be a small bug with the way the game references saves.

I noticed after I quit and then restarted with "Continue" it was using an earlier save. Sure enough, under the "Load" screen were my later saves.

For example, when I came back to the game today I hit continue and it started me in the hallway with the girl near the beginning, though I knew that in my last save the night before I had already gone down the hall into the room next to the the one with copy machine and saved on that bulletin board.

I have to make a point to use "Load" now instead of continue. Not a big deal.

As much as the Janitor is an essential part of the game, he definitely can be a little much. In the original game, I had to trap him with the stairs glitch in the New Building as I literally wouldn't get a single moment of peace. He'd be right on my ass no matter where I went.

I think it's kind of the point... this is a horror game, or do you want a walk in the park where you're 100% sure nothing will happen? I on the other hand think the new Janitor is less of a challenge because he appears a lot less.
