I've had this game for a while and I will occasionally come back to play it, I would recommend it to anyone who likes RTS games, it has many different ant factions with different attack types that you can combine into one colony. The progression is good, it can be non-grindy if you choose to play on easy or normal but there is an option to play higher difficulties and make it more challenging. It also has cool dialogue that describes the interesting features of each creature almost like a Nat Geo type thing and you can play levels against natural enemies of the species you are playing as. It's not only ants you can play as, there are termites, spiders and possibly more in the future. The only thing is that there isn't multiplayer and controlling your ants can be a bit annoying as you can't be precise with each individual ant. However instead of multiplayer you can make custom games and play against bots. I like that it has a cool ability upgrading system where you can give your ants special skills and upgrades. Overall a good game with an active dev team that is constantly updating it. :)

The game has a good basic mechanic, with pleasant graphics/soundtrack and a nice scientific theme.

Initial gameplay is fine, but very quickly you hit a wall as the dev decided they hated anyone who wasn't a REALLY hardcore RTS player... the major level "Possibly the final experiment" is the biggest "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" I've ever seen in a game, and was extremely disappointing. As someone who wants to just enjoy it as a casual relaxing game, this is not for me even on easy difficulty.

It is brilliant, refreshing and clever.
The graphics are great and it is so cool to play an rts that is outside the norm.
So well made, you can see the devs care about what they are doing.
