A few of you have already noticed some first changes happening on the Steam page of POLICE SIMULATOR 18. If your sleuthing instincts are telling you that this might have something to do with an imminent release of the game, congratulations: you are absolutely right! Due to the advanced time, POLICE Simulator 18 will be published under a new name “Police Simulator: Patrol Duty” and released exclusively on Steam on June 18, 2019.

Those of you who have closely followed the development already know that due to severe technical problems the release of POLICE SIMULATOR had to be delayed month by month. There are also some features that were initially intended to become part of the game that have proven to be a greater challenge in the development process than originally estimated which in turn made an adjustment of the game’s scope a necessity. In “Police Simulator: Patrol Duty” you will now experience the normal everyday tasks of a police officer that include, for example, issuing parking tickets, recording accidents, questioning witnesses, gathering evidence on crime scenes and checking the identity of persons and vehicles. Simply put: a classic job simulator, so please do not expect SWAT missions or something similar action packed. It will also unfortunately not be possible to include further features beyond the already existing ones. Because of this changed feature set, the game will be available for 14.99 Euro/17.99 USD/13.49 GBP exclusively on Steam starting June 18, 2019.

einige von euch haben bereits erste Änderungen auf der Steam-Seite von POLICE SIMULATOR 18 bemerkt. Allen, denen es nun in der Spürnase kitzelt, was einen baldigen Release des Spiels angeht: Ja, ihr habt völlig recht! POLICE SIMULATOR 18 wird unter dem neuen, der fortgeschrittenen Zeit angepassten, Titel „Police Simulator: Patrol Duty“ am 18.06.2019 exklusiv auf Steam erscheinen.

Ihr, die ihr die Entwicklung des Spiels aufmerksam verfolgt habt, wisst bereits, dass diese mit einigen schwerwiegenden technischen Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen hatte, die den Release des Spiels immer wieder aufs Neue verzögerten. Auch viele ursprünglich angestrebte Features und Inhalte haben den Entwicklungsprozess vor eine größere Herausforderung gestellt und der Umfang musste entsprechend angepasst werden. In „Police Simulator: Patrol Duty“ erlebt ihr nun den ganz normalen Alltag eines Streifenpolizisten mit Aufgaben wie zum Beispiel Parktickets verteilen, Unfälle aufnehmen, Zeugen befragen, Tatorte sichern und Personen sowie Fahrzeuge kontrollieren. Ein klassischer Working-Simulator eben, darum erwartet bitte keine SWAT-Einsätze oder ähnlich actionreiches. Es wird uns auch nicht möglich sein, das Spiel um weitere Features zu erweitern. Auf Grund des geänderten Feature-Sets wird der Titel nun ab 18.06.2019 exklusiv auf Steam für 14,99 € erhältlich sein.

I send you my most sincere greetings. is exactly the kind of police simulator I've wanted since it was announced 2 years ago, I've always had it on the wish list with the hope that it went on sale and today you just made my day. congratulations and a warm greeting.

No,
we still have a bank robbery in the game but the focus is defintely more on the daily police work like patrols, ticketing and accidents ;-)

The game will feature tutorial messages and tooltips but not a dedicated tutorial area if thats what your asking ;-)

Yes there is still a two player co-op in the game. You can experience the whole game with your friend!

No,

How often do they happen? Any murders?

Video is already updated and sadly you cannot change the characters names.
