Hi Bayo fans,

Sincere apologies for the lack of communication. Please be aware that we are reading this thread EVERY SINGLE DAY. We appreciate you posting your issues and specs. We understand your frustration, and are working closely with PlatinumGames to release a comprehensive patch as soon as possible. Note that it is Golden Week in Japan next week, so work will be delayed due to the holidays. We ask for your patience and to bear with us as we work to resolve your issues. Thank you.

Thank you for supporting Bayonetta on PC. We here at SEGA Europe are overwhelmed with the positive reception you have given us in this first week after release. We can’t thank you enough for putting us on the Steam Global Top Sellers list!

We have worked hard to ensure that Bayonetta on PC is the absolute best experience you can have on the platform. We do read this forum, and we’re seeing that some of you are reporting issues such as frame drops. Rest assured we are investigating, and a patch is imminent.

You can help us by reporting your issues here in this sticky thread in as much detail as possible so that we can reproduce them, along with your system specs.

Keep an eye on this thread as we bring you further news.

TOP TIP: Press the Back button on the loading screen to lock into Practice Mode. SSD users, be quick! Press Back again to resume loading.

oh back button practice mode is a thing, well thats awsome. as far as issues goes the game runs quite well for me but i have horrible frame drops whenever i end certain sections (i assume when the game is loading new textures or somehting as its never mid fight)

my PC stats are:

processer: intel core i7-3770k
ram: 16.gb
OS: 64 bit windows 10
vcard:nvidia GTX 770

also im not running it on a SSD, thanks for the continued support anyway

Amazing game, but please also release Vanquish on steam too, i'd buy it day one!

MSAA is broken, doesn't work except for 2X (Which unfortunately causes the image to be much brighter)

Bug with cutscenes on 1360x768.
Prologue run fine.
Chapter 1, frame drops but playable.
Chapter 2, frame drops 15-20 fps, unplayable. Low-high, same.
Anti-aliasing broken.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2Ghz
GTX 750ti 2GB
Ram 8GB

Windows 7 64 bit
FPS drops and CPU usage rise after prologue (+30% steam exe, +40% game)
trying change steam_api.dll and game starts running with 60 FPS after prologue (mb this helps)

Stuttering after prologue and the first level on any setting. Also FPS drops to 10.

I hope it's actually possible. Would buy Bayonetta 2 along with Vanquish on steam day one!
Really wish that Sega can somehow get the rights to publish Bayonetta 2 on PC.

And thank you SEGA Europe for actually deciding to put Bayonetta on the PC. Been playing the hell out of this game. I'm so pumped up I'm actually eager to get started working on a new combo video using PC footage for that 1080p60 goodness (I'd make it 4K but my GPU isn't THAT good). This is the last one I worked on when Bayonetta became backwards compatible on the Xbox One.
