Game Repeatedly Minimizes on Startup
Every time I try to play the game it launches normally but every few seconds the game will minimize itself. Re-installing did nothing to fix the game so I'm really looking for some help here.

I experienced this issue when i installed cisco webex on my home machine in order to attend a work-related Meeting. when it was removed my game stopped auto-minimizing.

Did you executed GraphicsConfig.exe and put your graphic card and refresh rate?. Don't forget to test it. Try to run in compatibility mode too if graphicscomfing.exe do not fix it. If that do not solve the problem idk what can be.

I managed to fix it, some program running in the background was causing it to minimize. Thanks for your suggestions though!

Eventually found it was GOG Galaxy for me

For me, it was Nvidia Container (which I believe is that annoying overlay that pops up asking you if you want to record) and Steam Client Webhelper that were repeatedly minimizing the game. I stopped the Nvidia Container by closing it in Task Manager, and it ran fine for a while without minimizing, but then started again. I then saw that Steam Client Webhelper was spiking CPU usage every time I alt-tabbed back into the game, so I went into the game and quickly opened the Steam Overlay, and that stopped it from minimizing over and over. I think that this game doesn't play well with overlays.
