While the devs jumped ship to go create hardware out of a lack of profitability in the Bigscreen app, they're still maintaining it to an acceptable degree (despite tearing out all the PlutoTV rooms) and this is still a definitive way to watch media in VR with friends, miles better than those distracting, laggy and ad-filled VRChat rooms with the walls of pirated movies

I can't speak much for the baked in cloud browser or YouTube feature, but remote desktop works beautifully and I've spent hours just hanging out with friends while beaming content up to a massive cinema screen

Stay away from public rooms though; they've taken a bit of a turn in recent time being more and more packed with openly bigoted players hosting all manner of hateful content, something the mods should be keeping a better eye on because I can see it literally every time I open the game lol

great for watching movies, the addons are maybe 5 times too much, I'd expect a vip dlc or something for the addons, for maybe 10 dollars, but not 10 dollars for 1 room.
