I will literally buy three copies of this game full price if it's fixed.

A nice trip down memory lane though definitely needs other players if you want to enjoy the full-experience *coughs remove GFWL coughs* beyond that still a decent game that holds up somewhat well.

Absolutely adore the Lost Planet series in itself, the co-op play-ability of LP2 is what attracted me to the second game moreso than the first and third games, I've played through all three of them on the Xbox 360 during the mid to late 2000's, and when I had the chance to buy the LP series on PC, I jumped at the chance having always been a PC gamer at heart and primarily on a PC throughout my entire gaming "career".

I'll admit that when I purchased the game series and found out that GWFL is STILL an ongoing issue for this game (and a lot of other games I loved on PC during the same time period) I was shocked and saddened, especially seeing that CAPCOM actually released a statement about the GWFL issue.

I did notice that there were some potential updates to the games files at some point last year, or even the year before, but has NOT been released to the public as of yet. I assume that this is CAPCOM working on the GWFL issues, but so far there has been zero comment on the Games For Windows Live situation that has been causing problems for the thousands of other games.

As much as I'd love to recommend the Lost Planet series, I unforutnately cannot as it is currently unplayable without tinkering with the files on our own accord, whereas this should NOT be the problem, we purchased a game and should get what we paid for, a game that at the very least launches. Hopefully when GWFL has been removed and dealt with in the LP series, I'll happily change my recommendation to positive. As it stands right now, I cannot do so, regardless of whether or not CAPCOM actually take note or care about the reviews of their games.
