This was a beautiful game that I completed in just under 3 hours, and that was taking my time to go slow and examine every proverbial nook and cranny. The narrative is fairly straightforward, which I appreciate because too often I find in narrative games there can be too great of a gap between story points to allow for the "actual" game play, but at no point was I asking myself, "wait, I can't remember what happened earlier, how does this part of the story tie in to what I saw before?"

The juxtaposition of the different dialogue choices, the achievements, and the shorter length of the game give it decent replay value, but I would replay this again just for the story alone. If you're a fan of narrative games and art that hurts, I cannot recommend Blackwood Crossing highly enough.

A short and Sweet story game. Can be completed in 1-2 hours.
