So I admittedly was not paying attention to the story or all the wall texts npcs had. I just like the atmosphere and world building. Weapons are cool, exploring fun. But I don't get what everyone is bombarding the hell out of cherynobyl. Why did all hell break lose here? And why are their people inside chernobyl guarding it? Wouldn't that be like suicide going inside chernobyl?...

i have to delete user.ltx file if i want the game to launch, but after i close the game , the same problem reappears , which means i have to remove users.ltx file again therefore losing all progress. i am windows 11 laptop , what can i do to fix this?

I'm playing through SoC now. I can always play the 2nd and 3rd ones later/after 2, but is it likely I'll be missing things in the story if I skip the 2nd & 3rd games before playing 2?
