4k resolution and 60fps gameplay?
Anyone know if it is possible to get this to play at 4k resolution with 60fps? Looks great even at 1080p but it won't let me go up any higher in resolution. I'm getting wicked screen tearing because of it not playing at my monitor's native resolution it seems.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to go beyond 1080p :d4_cry:

It being a japanese game has nothing to do with it not going to allow a setting for 4k, I mean it requires to be in windows 7 compatibility mode but seriously there has to be some sort of conf file hack to push it to 4k

don't think you get it, and no there isn't unless you plan on breaking the game.

I have found a post about using CE to go beyond 1080p but I don't believe it works for the steam version which is the only legit version on PC.

Unfortunately, it does have something to do with it as it's something of a trend with a significant portion of the Japanese ports on Steam.

Yes and no. It's a trend I see with KOEI TECMO games more than anything and some smaller studios. For example, most of CAPCOM's and Namco's games don't have these limitations in regards to resolution.

The 4K Cheat Engine thing works great, also with the Steam Version...playing in 4k....its step by step explotation and easy to understand.
Considering 4k is NOT standard and is a minority in Asia and Japanese Developers.....

Perhaps it is, but you dont need to add 4k Textures just the resolution itself improve the game alot. And as the Game Engine can handle 4k and you could even edit it in the Exe with Hex Editing i dont see a reason why you dont would allow players to have more options and take the resolution you would like...ohh did i told you that the HUD also can scale to the resolution..so rly no need for not allowing it.

Try using dynamic super resolution.

DSR dont work this way if the game dont offer the Resolution you can Enable DSR it doesnt do anything. You have to Cheat the Resolution.

How did you get it to work?

So can you manually change the resolution via the config file to e.g. 1440p?
