Windows 7 Compatibility mode (Windows 10 users)
So, I randomly solved this issue on my own and I'm pretty satisfied to be able to share it with all of you who don't know what I'm talking about.

When you first launch the game, it "highly" recommends you to launch the game using Windows 7 compatibility mode to increase performance. What do you do ? You click "No."

Ironically enough, in Windows 7 compatibility mode. The game actually decreases in performance when you choose this option. And I have yet to know why myself.

For those not on Windows 10 ? Just make sure you meet the requirements, and you should be fine.

I still can't figure out how to stop the message box from showing after you launch the game. :(

I clicked yes so I how do I get out of windows 7 compatibility mode?

Go to the game's directory:
C:\Program Games (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AoT

Right click the "AoT.exe" and go to the "Compatibility" tab and uncheck:
"Run this program in a compatibility mode for:"

This will automatically make it run with Windows 10 and not Windows 7.

Make sure you're right clicking the "AoT.exe". Then you should see it.

If you're on Windows 7 you don't have to worry about this.

I dont see that being an option for it, it only says windows 8, 7, and Vista

I dont see that being an option for it, it only says windows 8, 7, and Vista

hello first of all. I downloaded aot and open it. When I enter the game, it tells me to run it in windows 7 compatibility mode, so I press yes. But then when I press play nothing happens a screen comes and goes fast is there any solution for this please
