only work joystick all buttons not working

for both 3rd and 1st party PS4/PS5 controllers that are plugged in via USB, only D-pad input works. I've tried safe mode, no safe mode, toggling steam control options, different USB ports (legacy and 3.0), etc. the keyboard works fine, but i can't seem to actually go into any menus or select anything....

I've played a good amount of Yuppie so I'm just curious if Baroques first game is worth playing.

不管是键盘还是手柄，都只有上下左右有效，想确认或交互都没用，可以移动但是不能交互，esc有用但自己设置的背包键也没用

I was playing this game and couldn't find a save button. Are you able to manually save or does it only autosave? Thanks in advance.
