How will we neutralise friendlies?

I was just kicked for doing the objective (on 2fort that is) just because the entire server was pretty much just a silly server, a lot of people would join and a vote would immediatly be done to kick the guy for ever damaging someone.

This makes me think, are friendlies the death of TF2? Seriously votekick is constantly being abused because friendlies apparently don't understand that TF2 is an FPS, not an interactive social meetspace.

Which brings me to ask the title, what should be done?

My idea is to include an option on the report and votemenu to report/votekick someone for being friendly.
Second is to actually make reports do something, friendlies can recieve a permanent ban from casual and competitive because they really should just stay on silly servers rather than infest valve servers.

The final step is that i want someone to start a steam group in which people in it can add each other to play casual and votekick anyone for being friendly, keeping this up will eradicate friendlies from the game.

So how about it? :D

Who cares, piss them off and kill them until you get kicked, then you've done your job well enough, and there's nothing more you can do. You can only kill friendlies on Casual servers though, Community servers are a no go.

1. If only a few people are friendly, ignore or kill them.
2. If the entire server wants to be silly then you'll just have to change the server.

Ignore friendlies. If you find a server with friendlies, and they annoy you so much that your entire train of thought is focusing 100% on them, leave the server.

You could just kick them for being idle, since that's effectly what they are.

i agree , most Friendlies are annoying as hell
i have met nice sandvich hoovies on Hightower Casual and Community Servers , but honestly ? its annoying as hell if an enemy helps you , i mean hows that even fair , go play some other Game
