Drawing reference overlay

this is more of a feature request, but the idea is that you can overlay a drawing on a reference layer to help with spriting. This would be helpful for those with intricate styles, or someone who is more adept to hand drawn animation.

You could change opacity of a layer to 50% and put your reference there, although if you resize it unlike the reference layer, it will lose detail.

Otherwise, i'm not sure what you mean.
