Constant crackling sounds?
Just started playing and I am getting some crazy crackling sounds in my ears constantly on the ship and in game and it seems like the only thing in the "options" menu is an on/off switch for music? TotalBiscuit would be rolling in his grave if he knew about this options Menu!

Restarted my game and the Crackling stopped, no idea what caused it hopefully never happens again. Was the first time I ever started the game.

we've encountered this very rarely during development where the sound driver would get into a weird state VERY rarely. it was an error that we were unable to properly reproduce and appeared seemingly at random. please let us know if it happens again

The crackling / static noise is happening to me consistently every time i start the game. I can't even play because it gives me a killer headache. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help fix this issue, because right now its keeping me from even launching Cosmic Trip.

trying to track this down -- is it 100% every time? is it in the spaceship only, or the rest of the game? is it in the warp sequence at the start?
do any of the sounds come out okay, or are they all crackling?

It happens during the warp intro, the spaceship menu, and didnt happen during the tutorial from what i could hear. Il keep playing to see if i notice it anywhere else. Hope it helps.

I'm also getting this issue, constant crackling in the ship. Every time I load up.

funny, exactly same thing happened to me today, first boot and unbearable crackling, will try restarting tomorrow

I'm getting this almost constantly.. almost like a reverb effect that is echoing itself to the point of static..

Same issue here - 100% of the time, Quest 2 user

Same thing for me. Quest 2 user. Unable to play. It didn't ever happen to me before, but I haven't been able to play it ever since I got the Quest 2. I've tried changing different settings and nothing fixes it.

Same here.
Sounds like everything slowing down when the crackling appears.
Maybe some performance thing?
