This was my first time playing a Resident Evil game, and I really enjoyed it. The game is well-designed and has a spooky atmosphere. Most of the game takes place inside a house or building, which makes it even scarier. The first few hours, where you don’t have a weapon, felt a lot like Outlast.

The jump scares are done really well. Usually, horror games don’t focus much on the story, but that’s not true for this one. I liked the story a lot, which is a nice bonus for a horror game.

Overall, I’d say it’s a successful horror game, and I definitely recommend it.

Very creepy game, some disturbing bits but that`s what this series is all about, good graphics and sounds accompanied by a pretty good storyline.

This is tied with 2 for my favorite RE game. I'm so glad they decided to go back to the original survival horror format, and the southern gothic setting for the game is perfect.
