Load a previous savegame, don't wait for a fix which will most probably never come :) I'll try to reproduce this myself, I finished the game 4 times (easy, normal and 2xmadhouse) and everytime I picked the red dog head last.

I just seemed to miss the book earlier in the game and didn't go back to open grannies room until after I started fighting Jack and wanted the shotgun, so I didn't see the clue about the book. I also don't have a previous saved game, so looks like I'm done.

I have the exactly same problem. Already have the 2 other Dog Head's but i'm missing the Blue one. Already tried to stab and shoot the book but that thing wont open for nothing!

Can someone send me their saved game files? I dont want to start the game all over again and face the same problem.

I just bit the bullet and restarted. It didn't take long to rush to where I was at, and I managed to save more resources the second time around because I knew what was coming.

The problem is solved, not a game by the game, is that the puzzle can solve differently. Now you have to go under the sonnet and you will get the dog that you are missing.

My and my buddy just had this same issue but actually did "fix" it. We had gotten the blue dog head already, but didn't pick up the white dog head from the clock puzzle. Because we had gotten the Pendulum from the clock we mistook it for having gotten the dog head.

It's worth checking to make sure you definitely do not have the blue head already.
