Ion Assault is not detecting my graphics card, default to on-board card instead (slow)
Anyone else having this issue?

I had the problem with an old laptop with an Intel GPU (I5 2xxx or 3xxx series) and a dedicated Nvidia GPU. The Intel GPU was active in desktop mode, but the Nvidia GPU was "invisible" to save energy. But I don't know what I had to change in the Nvidia driver so that it was recognized correctly. But maybe this will help you as a guide.

disable your onboard GPU in your Bios
