nah to be real tho i mainly play FPS' and then play games like stardew valley when i get too burnt out, so i guess it does somewhat help in that aspect

I too endorse alternating game genres, it really helps prevent over-stressing the same tendons... you don't notice as a teen, but I'm over 40 now and it matters. The best I've found is swapping often between KBM and controller, even more than the genre.
