Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter

Powerups stay in place after pickup
Every time I pick up a powerup, the sparkling effect is removed and the powerup activates, but the model itself does not disappear. Using the unofficial 1.07 patch. Anyone knows what might cause this?

Maybe it's caused by large amount of powerups on level, dunno about any other things that might cause this. Or it's just a strange rare bug
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
Messing with console command can cause that. Check in the console:
/mdl_fLODMul = must be more than 0.
/mdl_iLODDisappear must be 2.
/plr_bRenderPicked must be 0.

"more than zero" what is fLODMul and what does it do and what is a better value than zero?

Adjusts distance at which models lose their details. Somehow this affects picked-up items visibility.

mdl_fLODMul=0.0001 with mdl_iLODDisappear=2 is what I found to be the minimum that works, and it fixes other bugs like some skins with broken LOD disappearing, also it looks the best (and runs the worst if that's a concern).
