Doom is a SS clone

i'm not (and never was) into serious sam, it's actually a very interesting and fun shooter!
some enemies remind me of quake ALOT, and the combat is challenging and engaging.
weapon design is pretty cool too.
i love the "bestiary" and the descriptions on map locations and what-not. its there to show you dialogue and i guess lore?
its nice if you are interested/patient to read all of it, and it also give tips about weapons and how to deal with enemies too.
in a short, TLDR form: yes, its worth it and yes its FUN

thought it would be like the old SS... but nope.. just stupid (seemingly like a lot of games these days!)
