Did you contact the developers about it ?

Had to set my windows resolution to 1920 x 1080 for it to work on my system with windows 10

game was launching in other resolution but was crashing or I couldnt see the game

I would not recommend windows 10 anyway!

use compatibility mode, run as administrator, run with dxwnd, install ddrawcompat or dgvoodoo.
These should be your first tests, especially those first two, which solve almost every start-up problem in any old software

yes. as the technology gets older and more obsolete, you can not expect for it to magically become more compatibly.

Few thing to try:
-Run as administrator
-Change nvidia settings for Crusader HD to run at whatever your native resolution is, and try many resolutions
-Disable fullscreen optimizations for crusader under properties
-Reinstall game
-Update graphics drivers
