ranking the levels
8- level 4: the ruins
didn't tell me too much, i liked some parts but overall is the level that give me the less emotions, i think i didn't get into it...

7- level 1: the hub
idk, it's a good level, very good first level that's for sure

6- level 7: the lost land
i expected it to like it more, it feels a bit soulless compared to the rest of the levels, but ignoring that is obviously great

5- level 2: the jungle
very good level, very solid...

4- level 6: the treetop village
it has a very good atmosphere and scenography

3- level 5: the catacombs
a very fun level, the boss is good too

2- level 8: the final confrontation
what can i say... this is the peak of the game in terms of... idk, in terms of "something"... i like it a lot

1- level 3: the ancient city
this is the peak of quality for me, that's a very good third level, it is very long and very fun, it has the most fast paced combat but is also very good to explore... it is one of the easiest for me, but is good... the final part with the platforming give me shivers, it was psychologically horror (after you die one time is less effective though)... the boss is fine

that's my ranking...

Fair ratings. I liked all the levels and enjoyed that they all felt fairly different. I do agree about the ancient city platforming, was brutal on the N64.

Might write up my own rankings later. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, always cool to see what other folks thought of the game :p
