Has the game become Abandonedware?

I always wanted to make mods for this game but i don't know if there's enough players around to even bother learning how to.

I've played this game for 15 hours and I did not know it had Mods! I don't see anything in my game that shows how to or even a section for Mods. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the Mods to even show-up in my game? I wanted to play the same world on my Steamdeck that I play on my PC but without cloud save I have just beebn playing 2 separate games files. Have anyone found a way to play same game file in 2 different locations/devices? TIA...

I have a server up and paid up for a year. Want to create a serious community around this game. If you are a serious player or someone that is willing to give this game a serious shot and want to join please message me. It has a nice set of mods on that I have tested and all work together....
