Everytime I open the game I have to type the key...

We setup a public branch with the original 1.54 version. The branch is called: original1.54

This key not works now! Game requires key for main game, and i don`t know, were i can see him.

Is that the Solution or will you fix the Problems with the Widescreen Patch?

i really wish i knew that farlorns hope would glitch before i got this.
im doing this patch to FIX the farlorns hope glitch but now all my saves arent compatible. which means i have to start a new character and game. And i have a pathalogical aversion to repeating ♥♥♥♥ T.T

It should help you with that, just make sure to load a save before entering it for the first time.

Is there another product key to use? Steam is telling me the one in the top post is not valid. I can run the game, but then I just have a pop-up at the main menu asking for the CD key again.

..You type it in the pop-up at the main menu.

The problem then is that the game asks me to type it in every time I start up. I'd like it if Steam could keep the key record for me.

You need to run the spellforce exe with admin rights and then enter the cd key,otherwise it will ask for the key at every game launch.(the cd version also had this issue with os systems after win xp).

Start as an administrator, enter the CD key, start a new game, make a save, quit, restart the game. This should fix it.

Urgh.

So, the "original release" branch doesn't have any 1920x1080 resolution possible; but the version you get if you don't opt into any Steam releases has a massive showstopper bug?

You can look at the nexus page for Spellforce Platinum Edition, they have a Widescreen fix.

would like if steam allowed copy/paste for the key -_-... have to broke alt+shift away from the game to come back here to check key then back to game to enter it and bam ! game freeze most of time...

could simply copy the key on paper, but i dont have right now -_- tssk, stupid steam should allow copy/paste

ah, and of course, when its launched wit hadmin right, the steam overlay didnt work -_-
