I’ve created this MEGATHREAD to answer some of the most commonly asked questions here in the forums, and you should make sure to read the information below to see if it answers your question before starting a new thread. This is the best place to talk to other players and myself as Team 17’s Social Media Manager. Let me know if something needs to be added and I’ll update this thread.

Your most useful tool in this zombie apocalypse (other than duct tape!) is the search bar, it will keep the forum tidy and it can save you loads of time!

Before making any post on the forum, you should search to see if similar discussions already exist. If they do – contribute to them! It will keep this forum tidier and much easier to navigate. Please try searching before posting!

Please don’t post story spoilers for the comics or the game without spoiler warnings!


If something in the game isn’t working as it should, the first thing you should do is visit the Solved Problems board and use the search function to see if there’s already a solution to what you’re experiencing. If you can’t find anything there, head over to the Report a Problem board and make a bug report!


If you’re having a problem which isn’t a bug, you can contact Team17 for help. The best way to do that is to email us on help@team17support.com. Be sure to include as much detail about the problem as you can, and place the name of the game you’re having a problem with in the subject line.

If you buy the game for one Steam platform, you’ll get access to the other Steam platforms as and when they are released.

This does not apply to the Xbox One version.
