Bethesda won't remaster Fallout 1, because they'd have to touch engine event scripting and choice/consequences/world reactivity mechanics that were miles more complex than anything they put into Fallout 3 or 4 or Starfield. Their engineers simply aren't smart enough to keep up.

Plus, if they remastered Fallout 1 and gave it the "Diablo 2 Resurrected" treatment, "removing the graphics quality barrier for modern audiences", so to speak - it would expose so many people to just how horrible Fallout 3 and 4 are in every single way, and how Bethesda essentially destroyed the franchise, culminating in awful Amazon show which is based on awful Fallout 4.

Bethesda doesn't want to remind people that Fallout used to be great, unique, and very very different from what they think it is now. It would just ruin all kinds of things for them.

Fallout 1 touch my heart, as for Fallout 2 It touch my wallet and left me with sore.

i have 800 hours in starfield on my microsoft account and i can tell you bethesda is out of touch and out of mind its like they just dont care but as you can tell everything in the world is showing there true colors in 2024 nothing care so time to just give up and let them make bad games for the rest of our lives
