Age Ratings Mandatory in Germany
Starting from November 15th, your game will be hidden from the Steam store in Germany. That would be a great loss to our community.

Thus, would you consider filling out the age ratings survey form to have your game available in Germany after November 15th? I'd like to recommend this game in future to my friends, just as I did in the past.

Actually from the Valve instructions, only the developer can fill that form in, sooo what's the real use of scrambling the fans, unless we can materially help. The company taking the money for this game has long ago walked off.
Yeah, I hoped to reach the devs via this way (just as bugs are also reported via the discussions sometimes). If they really have long walked off they there is unfortunately nothing we can do.

FWIW the ESRB is M, meaning 17+. That seems a bit harsh considering there's no violence, but I guess all the swearing and the brief nudity made the difference. My understanding is that Germans are a bit more relaxed about that kind of thing.

No real loss

I imagine a lot of games go into caretaker mode, and the reality is often that spinning up resource to make even small defect fixes is really huge, really huge. Backups get lost, knowledge lost, and tools stop working all of the time, more than we think. But you would hope that a caretaker who gets a small income from it can make store-listing changes.
really hope the devs do somehow see this (and take action to get a rating) as losing the game here would be quite disappointing, i do very much enjoy it and would like to continue being able to play and recommend it to my friends

They're only talking about Steam in Germany. Even then I'm guessing that if you own the game you'd still be able to play; it would just be more difficult for new players to find in Germany.

German here. Wish I would have known about this earlier. I was wondering why I couldn't access the store page anymore. Ah well...:erune:

Please developers, fill out the forum!! I'm curious about the game and would love to try it out without having to resort to less legal options.

It looks like our voices were heard. I am able to access the game in the German Steam store again.

it just came up with the required warning - i never knew Germans were against nudity , but this game now has a nudity and violence warning - the time to burn all of those books is coming soon. For now we are safe.
