Correct, the studio no longer exists.

It used to be that people didn't expect sequels no matter how good the story is or how open the ending is. I keep thinking about "Great Expectations 2: Son of Pip". I suggest looking for fan fiction if you're that thirsty, or write your own.

Fanmade? that would mean it would have to be easy to make games, it sure ain't. There are loads of similar games to be found now. Quite a few lists and groups exist.

valve bought out the entire studio so it basically doesnt exist anymore and is part of valve, unless valve allows them to make firewatch 2 its very unlikely considering their other game was cancelled too
