I assume that when you are trying to get these achievements you are following the guide at https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731388805

Getting the Zauberflote is a bit time and conversation dependent - I think you really need to do London -> Paris -> Vienna, if you go to Cambridge or Amsterdam etc first they will have gone already.

Also some of the achievements don't pop until after you finish the game and exit, can't remember if this is one of those. It worked at one point in time since I was able to get it.

I just tried it and was able to get both the Zauberflote and trigger the route to Belgrade to open (note that you need to choose the right conversation choices to actually get to Belgrade). I went directly from Paris to Vienna without spending a night in a hotel on Paris (by this I mean I was able to negotiate the train immediately, not sure if that matters). In Vienna you may need to explore and get the Zauberflote before staying at the hotel to get Belgrade to unlock

At Hotel

- there was a delightful chamber group...
- I listened in on their banter...
- I tried to hear...

Yeah, I had assumed I was failing because I wasn't able to meet the man mentioned in the guide and offer him wine. I got the route to Belgrade to open and even got on it once, but I never got the zauberflote, which is how I knew I had failed. I'll try what you tried, tho. Thanks.

Hi - I added a few spoilers to my previous post...

Plus on route to Belgrade -
after you have the Zauberflote and have opened up Belgrade
- boldly ...
- I produced my flute...
- We know all about...
- I can ...

and after you talk to a person in Belgrade - be nice to them and give them the Zauberflote at the first possible opportunity...

Also the ruining a life probably needs that you go back through Lisbon (after stealing the Zauberflote) to trigger it.

Weird, I just tried and I got the same thing that's been happening. I talk to the young composer on the way to Vienna, and I was only able to pick "They are a magnificent..." and nothing else while exploring until I stayed at the hotel where I was able to attend the steam orchestra. Afterward, I go to the bar and am able to open up Belgrade, but I never get an opportunity to get the flute.

Weird - I'm windows 10 (are you a different OS?) - see https://80days.fandom.com/wiki/Desolate_Belgrade - plus the conversation does not happen on the train to Vienna - it happens on explore in Vienna...

Yeah, I'm in Linux, but IDK why the scenarios would be completely different. I'm able to go to the steam orchestra only if I talk to the young composer on the Orient Express; otherwise, I can follow a procession of soldiers playing instruments, but I'm still not able to get the flute.

Maybe it is buggy on Linux? The devs posted a link to their Discord on the Heaven's Vault discussion...

I know I wasn't getting any achievements until I updated to the latest version of Proton, but I've been able to get every other achievement but these last few. It could be buggy. Thanks for the help, anyway. lol

Composer on the Orient Express?? I've seen Henri de Browitz who is a reporter and involved in other stories... I haven't seen any composers actually on this section of the train??

Yeah, I'm not even getting any but two options when I explore Vienna. No one comes up to me either way. I go to the dining car and I can sit with a young composer whose uncle conducts the steam orchestra.

After I tried for and got the Barreling Over achievement, I started a new game and was FINALLY approached while in Vienna. I guess it just took a few times of going through?? IDK, but thanks for your help.
