I played easily 50+ matches of the bone chill event and didn't get the new map once. I just used the Ormond offering and finally got sent there on the first try. Still though, 50+ bone chill matches and no new map even once is pretty stupid considering it's the loading screen for every one of those matches as well.

On other hand, this map is available on any custom match (by settings the realm in 'details').
I think this map 'Ormond mine something' has been removed from the maps rotation:

Not true. The Ormond Lake Mine released with the Bone Chill but is not event-specific, meaning it will stay even after the event is over.

I know thats not alot of solace but you could always start a custom match with friends or against bots, there in the settings you can choose the maps and all the versions. Its also a great way to learn the maps when they are new.
