This. Gotta love that if anyone in the lobby has terrible ping-it always gives the killer an advantage. Don’t know how they can fix this, but it definitely needs a fix.

ah k . kinda weird. was about to get closer and dude hit me while teleporting and i was confused xD

Can't get a fix as it isn't broken. That is the intention of the developers

I mean, it can cause issues for killers too (at least it has been during the current event mode). It’s been making everyone’s ping higher than usual and I was playing a match as killer that started lagging/stuttering very badly all of a sudden.

I’m always lowkey terrified when this happens because half the time the next step is a freeze, forced DC, then a penalty.

So I went to the pause screen to see if I was the one with the ridiculously high ping or one of the survivors was. It was one of the survivors. I usually don’t tunnel but made an exception for this match because I was scared of getting force DCed. Think it might’ve been a casual SWF because they were trying pretty hard to stop me from tunneling but I didn’t want to eat a penalty over someone else’s ping. Anyway, got that player out of the match and the rest of the match was stable. Spent the rest of the match farming hits, hooks, and event objectives-everyone else got out-all likely very angry with me (I didn’t look at the post-game chat if there even was any).

I will also not save a teammate on hook as survivor if they have high ping and are causing the match to lag/stutter horribly. I won’t grief them or try to prevent others from saving them-but I’m not going to help when I could be punished by the DC penalty for them remaining in the match with awful ping.

If nurse are teleporting to the wall the blink will be canceled and she can hit you. You can check it in private match. Try gideon map for example
