Looks like 1) Degica abandoned shmups and moved on to VNs, rpgs or beatemups 2) M2 didnt find solution for windows ports, and as they are perfectionists, they refuse to do weak job

However, City Connection is now very active, after all those Psikyo ports, so maybe maybe maybe they can do some new Cave for PC. But, no idea if really will.

Well, my message is for shmups "in general".
Under defeat is G.REV. and Raiden Gulti.

I think that Steam is a proper market for ALL of this games...specially the best of them, like FUTARI, ESPGALUDA2 and RADIANT silvergun...

This game recently saw a surprise release on Nintendo Switch following the E3 Direct, and DoDonPachi Resurrection has been announced for the console as well, so the sequel might come to modern platforms in the next couple of years.

Don't hold your breath for pc platform releases. Cave seem to have selected a porting team who are focusing, apparently exclusively, on console releases. Presumably because they can set the price of the games a bit higher.

I'm necroing this thread to tell that a month ago I managed to do Futari and it was good (although I still prefer the first overal).
