Theres some sort of glitch where if you had an old ubisoft account, then link a new steam game to a different ubi account, where things wont work anymore. I had that bug myself but it was years ago i think i had to login to ubi website or something

Sorry to hear it you cannot launch Far Cry games you purchased on Steam.

If you have downloaded Ubisoft Connect client along with the game via Steam, chances are this is an old, outdated version that may not be able to connect to the servers any more.

Please download and install a new version from its official website: https://ubi.li/YVY0k
Run Ubisoft Connect as administrator.

You need to link your Steam account with a Ubisoft account - https://ubi.li/h3FUT

Make sure UC exe file is allowed via Windows firewall, as Ubisoft core services are needed.

This is ridiculous. Uninstalling every ubisoft game I have. EVERY TIME I try and play an old game I have they have a some stupid error and I have to spend an hour fixing it. FIX: DO NOT BUY UBISOFT GAMES.

lol you just have to manually install the ubisoft connect client because ubisofts management is horrible and not updating redistributables

games fine. relax. also don't blame the random ubisoft person on steam genuinely. great people just trying to help. they have no control over the game.
