co-op support in pc version?

I have a guide for this game that mentions co-op in the campaign, but for PS2 and Xbox. Is there a way to make the co-op work in this version of the game? Thanks.

Why would anyone get hate comments for working on something like that?
Coop is the only reason I still consider the PS2 version the better version of this game.

I don't know what happened exactly, just remember his last statements being the cancelation of his work. Can't give any sources, because all of this happened before Google acquired YouTube. His channel definetly had a Hummel artilery tank as Avatar
