About how long did the game took you to finish?
Were there any choices to be made in game? (eg where to sell the painting? or who to give beer at the party? or you find a second beer later on?)
If you got ducats for the painting did you manage to get any of those 10k items the other seller offered or they are there for the memes?

I'd say it took me about 30 hours to finish it, im not really sure since I left it open when I wasnt playing it and I have 60 hours played.
For the choices I sold the painting for ducats. I gave the beer to the guy for a party hat which is useless since you can buy a party hat later at the trenhcoat party but, the toga im assuming is bad as well, I never was able to find another beer anywhere. Lastly I didnt buy any of the 10k items but, I dont think you can since I think i might have got 10k altogether playing through the entire game and most of that, like $7000 was from grinding virus/computers near the end of the game and he disappears after that day.

On a study in blue part II, what am I supposed to do? I've reached the altar but the game won't let me interact with it. Is there meant to be something else I do to complete the finding the author objective?

You need to talk to Watson again.

A Study in Blue Part 1 says to explore the manager room, but there's nothing there. What gives? Is something added if I advance the plot?

really wish this game had a guide if only to prevent wandering around aimlessly.

There's a second beer hidden in the party zone. Climb up the tree in the "Goats" area and enter the treehouse.

Are there still any missable achievements? I ran across another thread where the developer was talking about making some unmissable.

None of them are missable, you can always go back and finish things missed in previous areas.

There's only one that is missable early on, just make sure you get the Flowers for Caesar when he asks for them and don't return to him before you do. The more easily missable ones can be completed at any time now.

Thank you. I'll make sure I do that when I run into him.

That's good to know about the missable one. I like playing through without stressing too much about them but man I hate missing any.

What are the relations between health and defense stats ? Does each point of defense equal to -1 point of health took by attack or something else ? It's hard to tell if I should favor defense, attack or health when picking armors. What is you advice ?
Also, I'm missing 3 mexican jumping beans but I can't acces to hermanos brothers enemies for the music trials are unreachable once achieved. Is that quest unbeatable then ?

You will be able to return to that area once you finish the bethoven quest line

I personally used +attack gear till I got to the Knight Set, then I went from there to the red fists plus other +attack till I could get the Robot Daryl Set. Im not sure what the relation is but, you can use the +HP backstep to bolster yourself if you feel you cant clear what you want, other then bosses. You cant complete the jumping beans till you reach the music trial so no its unbeatable.

Hope you saved an earlier file, because this can become impossible to complete. If you didn't talk to the goblin spy dressed as a frenchman before entering the pyramid, Watson won't call you with the locker combo you need, he will just show up in the pyramid and ask you to find the altar. Then there will be a locked door you cannot enter because the key is in a locker you cannot now get into.
