and when i start the game my monitor goes in g-sync mode, and game runs like its in g-sync mode.
ok thanks.
and im not seeing the same problem as your original post.
fraps shows my fps between 70-90
With Vsync on in Nvidia control panel, Gsync works but Mafia 3 limits to 60fps even with Unlimited frames enabled
maybe the problem is gpu specific. i have gtx1080
One last time then...
1) Either buy Borderless Gaming here on Steam (costs about $5 - and happens to be a great utility) or download it off the net. (I bought it, because I use it all the time)
2) Run Mafia 3 in a window.
3) Run Borderless Gaming and play Mafia 3 in a borderless Window. Your monitor will refresh above 60Hz when your frame rate climbs above 60FPS.
Make sure, in the Nvidia control panel, to set G-sync for windowed gaming.
(Let me know if this works for you - I've literally posted this solution five times now, and nobody has bothered to try it... I'm not sure why people are asking for help, and then ignoring it?)
No it isn't.
