Games does not start on some Win10

Several people have reported that Evoland 2 does not start in Windows 10 when launched from Steam client or shortcut.

Please note that this is not specific to Evoland 2 : many other games on Steam have the same issue with Windows 10, hopefully Valve and Microsoft will solve that together.

In the meanwhile, you can start the game directly from the place it's been installed on Steam. If you don't know this place, right click on the game then Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files in order to open the installation directory.

Other issues on all versions of Windows might involve 3rd party software which are causing problems with the game startup : that can be antivirus, or tools which inject some overlays such as Mumble, TeamSpeak etc. Please quit these applications before starting Evoland 2 if you get some errors at startup.

Fortunately, my computer, running Windows 10, is not affected by this bug.
So, maybe, I have something (not) installed that helps launching the game ?

I'm using Avast, Mumble and TeamSpeak.
The Mumble or Overworlf overlay is not even showing in Evoland 2.

+ NVIDIA GeForce.

This issue is real mystery, for now...

I'have Windows 10 pro 64bits and all my game launch correctly. Batman arkham knight to and before the patch!!

I have Windows 10 x64 and NVIDIA Optimus. When I set the game to use Intel, I can launch it from Steam, when I change it to NVIDIA, I need to go to the folder and start the .exe directly.

2 systems with Windows 10 Pro x64 here, both running evoland 2 without problems.

desktop with intel Dx79to motherboard, i7-3820 cpu 32GB ram and 4GB EVGA GTX 980 classified
Laptop with i7-4702MQ cpu, 32GB Ram and
Intel 4600/gt 750m GPUs

ContraNetwork are Evoland 2
