I would think that would be possible for the devs since No More Room in Hell did something like that (not necessarily a soldier but a runner but close enough) Would be interesting.

I've actually had this thought, but I don't want to give Hoob more work because we're working on something else soon. And the transition would be quite jarring. No More Room In Hell has a lot more access to the engine than we do as well, and this would really only put the players at a disadvantage due to the soldier zombies being waaaaaay stronger than your standard walkers. It'd open up quite a lot of room for exploitation which is why we never followed through with it.
