Problems with graphics and sluggish movement
I can't configure the graphics so they look right and the movement within the game is sluggish and very slow.

Hey tgruy, sorry to hear that. The first thing I'd suggest is going into the video settings and picking a new default setting, from Very Low to Ultra. If that doesn't work I suggest going into the "Effects" menu and seeing if you can enable or disable a few post effects to see if it works better. What are your hardware specs so we can get an idea of how that might factor in?

Regarding movement, is it because the performance is bad or because the movement is just slow? The game doesn't have terribly rapid movement, but you can sprint by pressing in the Left Analog stick or tapping the Shift key while moving.
Hi Tristan,
I have tried all the combinations of settings and the game still does not get clear. I've watched youtube videos of the game and mine does not look or work anything near them.
The girl in the main menu looks like a manequin. The menu looks like cramped text most of the time.
I will try to upload a screenshot so you can see.
My computer specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7 4720HQ CPU
Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M
8GB RAM
The menu seem to have got better, this time around at least, with me having done nothing to fix it...
The movement is still slooooow and very upsetting. I can't even get the key from the nightstand before the phone rings, because the cursor and the camera are so slow and laggy that I can't control them the way I need to so I can play.
Thank you for your attention and will to help me.

Hey tgruy, since it looks like you have a laptop from your Graphics card, you may want to check that it's actually being used as the default device. This may not be an issue with the game, but instead that your laptop isn't using all of the hardware. I've tested on a lot of laptops and there are quite a few that default to running the integrated card instead of the Nvidia card by default.

Here's what I would suggest. Go to Nvidia [www.nvidia.com] and make sure you've got the latest drivers and have the Nvidia Control Panel.

Then, select Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings tab > Preferred graphics processor dropdown, select High Performance Nvidia Processor.

If you want to double-check to see which card you are using, try running DXDiag on your computer (you can search for it on Windows 10 and it should show up). If you go to the Display 1 tab, it will most likely show Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M if that's the card you are using. Otherwise, it will probably say something like Intel HD or something similar. If it says Intel anything, that means your machine isn't using the Nvidia card, and the above steps should sort you out.

Let me know if that works!

Also if your machine is an Alienware, I know that Alienware machines actually have a hotkey combination for toggling between the integrated and dedicated graphics cards. I believe it is usually Function + F7. You want to make sure the right graphics card is being used and THEN start Reflections, so it launches correctly.
Thank you very much for your help. Your advice worked! I had to activate the graphics card specifically for your game but it is working wonderfully!
I really appreciate your time and effort to help me.

No problem and I'm glad it helped! I'm not sure why it doesn't default to using the card, we will have to contact Nvidia and find out if our game needs to be added to a list or something like that to work out of the box. Glad you got sorted out!
