Me neither... I don't know if its because of aging reflexes, or the revamped animation, but this level has become impossible for me... I don't even remember playing such a difficult level as a kid, .. The level i used to get stuck at was that ice maze around lvl 100
If it is any consolation, ice definitely behaves differently on the steam edition vs. the original microsoft edition, however ice was much more erratic on the original microsoft edition which made it arguably harder.
That said, I am struggling with this level on the steam edition too!
Just beat Block Buster. The 3rd room went something like this:
Walk over the spawners all in a row, turn right to the wall
1 2 3 walk
1 2 3 wait
1 2 3 walk
1 2 3 walk
1 2 3 wait
1 2 3 wait
1 2 3 walk
It helped me to count out loud to myself
What eventually worked for me for rooms 3 and 4 was F5 to pause and holding up.
For Room 3: Pause/Unpause until you get a pause where the sliding block has just bounced off the right block and is part of the way into the middle ice square but not all the way.
Roon 4: Pause/Unpause until the block is starting to move from the middle square to the right. Pause when it is partially in the right square but mainly in the middle square.
When you get it into position, hold the up key, release unpause and then release the up button. So you will be moving as you unpause but then release before taking a second step.
This was the best advice! I had been struggling to get the timing but Pause/Unpause got me through in about 3 attempts.
