* Only take chips when no blobs are adjacent to them.
* After taking a chip, immediately move back to the gravel.
* Take it slow-impatience will lead to risks, and likely death.
* Clear out one part of the level before moving to the next: I usually go around counterclockwise, ending with the center.
* If you're having trouble reading the blob patterns, play other levels with blobs in them. For me, the tipping point was running through a version of this set with all monsters replaced with blobs (with minor changes to make some levels solvable, and adding blobs to monster-less levels).
Basically that. The time limit is pretty comfortable so you can wait for the blobs to move away as long as you want to.
You will die a lot but you will beat it eventually.
And if you want to make the level easier, find a level map online and pre-plan a route. I went clockwise around the perimeter, before grabbing the ones on the 'inside', saving the ones around the exit (the hardest ones) for last. If you have plenty of time towards the end, wait until there's 1-2 blank spaces between the blob and chip.
Thanks for the tips.
And just to throw one of my tips out there, i found that if you can read the movements of the blobs, you can grab the chips at the same time that the blobs would be moving, and they wont get you. Though it's pretty hard to read them.
Only took about 100 tries. Slow down, relax, wait, watch, cross fingers, quit and try the next day. This level has haunted me for over a week.
