after about 20 hours of gameplay and 100% the game i can now confidently review the game!
it's a great Metroidvania, very nice and simple, the pixel art style is visually appealing, along with the backgrounds and all the music is great, even if i don't like the music, i still recognize that it fits the area it plays in very well, Pirate's Curse is fairly short, on your first run trying to get all collectibles you will likely take around 11 1/2 hours, after that, there are 2 speed run achievements, 1 for beating the game in 2 hours and another for 100% in 3 1/2 hours, overall awesome game, probably 8 out of 10, the only parts i didn't like was how sometimes i had to look up a guide to know what to do next, and there is a lack of difficulty options, if they added some sort of Hard mode, i think that would greatly add to the experience
