I only see maybe a couple of people on every few days or so. Is this game still active?

seen this today had a look on the tube but could only find 7 plus year old tried to find today stuff or upto date but only find that the community as thinned out. I dont mind being alone in space but i dont want to purchase only to find the game has closed in a week. is there any plans on closing the game completely or will it stay open for many years to come?...

Hi I just bought the game this morning and it requires you to setup an account to login. For some reason its not sending me the confirmation mail. i attempted multiple times to the same Gmail.com mail address. its not showing in my spam box
