Maybe I'm nooooooob... But game doesn't launch.( When pushing play in TV nothing happens. Only "back" button is active. Mint 17.3
- Nvidia GTX 750, driver 418.56: correct rendering
- AMD RX 570, Mesa 19.0.3: black/blank emulator screen
- AMD RX 570, Mesa 19.0.3, LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 GALLIUM_DRIVER=llvmpipe: black/blank emulator screen
Please fix this, or report a Linux AMD driver issue. Thanks.
Non-Fullscreen mode works wonderfully, and will suffice. Hence this isn't a game-breaking bug.
Does anyone know a fix to save me the hassle of digging into logs, or will I need to do so later?
For me the full screen in the room view works perfectly, until you start the game. Then I see on the left and right those squarething borders and the center screen part where the game should be is black.
Then I move mouse so the back button appears to the right, click it, then 4 buttons appear (back, save/load, full screen, play) and click on "play" and it works perfectly.
Sadly I have to do this every time I start a new game.
Changing the room settings to windowed or back doesn't change a thing - the start game black square thing remains the same and need to mouse juggle.
Also irritating is that the 3D room is unnavigatable with the retro-bit Sega controller (or any controller for that matter?) and I have to use mouse.
(manjaro; kde; vega64; retro-bit sega controller and ms xbox one BT controller)
This isn't a valid solution. You described how to exit the fullscreen mode and enter the TV mode.
The fullscreen mode is where the outline of the TV isn't being rendered. In TV mode the emulator screen is slightly curved to simulate the curvature of old CRT displays, while in fullscreen mode it is rectangular without any curvature.
The description of "Console Settings >>> Emulator Settings >>> Start in Fullscreen" is "Select whether a game boots in fullscreen or TV mode".
