On Windows 7 (and likely the same for 8.1), go to Control Panel.
From there go to "Hardware and Sound". Under "Sound", click "Manage audio devices".
This will list all the audio devices attached to your pc, both speakers and microphones.
Click on the set of speakers you use under the "Playback" tab, and on the bottom left hand side choose "Configure".
Select "Stereo" as your speaker set-up if you are using a stereo/2.1 set-up. Enjoy.
This game is a technical mess!!! refund requested!!
WARNING THIS GAME IS BROKEN!!
Me too but only with headphones strangely enough. On my bookshelf speakers the audio is perfect in its killing greatness.
this game has MANY problems. lets not pretend they are "problems". which seems to imply they are not real.
I think the OP put "problem" in quotes because it genuinely isn't a problem with the game, it's simply due to having a misconfigured PC. If you turned your speakers off you wouldn't say that the game had a sound problem, right? I don't think there was any implication that the game doesn't have any problems, merely that this isn't one of them.
